Performance, Reliability and Affordability are the perfect words to describe the suite of hardware components available through Millennium. Our fifty years of history in Access Control really shows when you review our design architecture. Every door in Millennium system is independently controlled with a Door Control Device (DCD). This means that all cardholders with access levels are managed in each DCD, and access decisions are made independent of any communications between the DCD and the Computer. If there is ever a network communications loss, each door is still controlled. Groups of DCDs at a specific site or within a site communicate through a simple wiring scheme to a Millennium Site Control Unit (SCU). This unit coordinates all communications between groups of doors and the Millennium software. Two hardware components ensure that installations are easy, and service is easy and ultimately that per door costs, for installation or service, are affordable.

Stanley Wi-Q Access

The Wi-Q 3.1 wireless access control system consists of lock controllers, single door controllers, wireless interfaces to connect the lock controller to the control software, and the control software. It supports both Magnetic and Proximity card readers.

The integration provides OnGuard/BASIS end user the ability to interface with the Stanley Wi-Q Hardware Platforms. The end user has the ability to send reader and cardholder information from OnGuard/BASIS to the Stanley Wi-Q WDC, WAC, OMW, and Portal Gateways. Alarms and events are viewable via Alarm Monitoring, along with the I/O control of the Stanley Wi-Q Hardware.

The integration supports:

  • Configure Stanley Wi-Q Access Control Panels in OnGuard
  • Configure Stanley Wi-Q Wireless Access Control and Wireless Door Controllers readers in OnGuard
  • The Reader configuration supports the configurations outlined in the Settings, Controls, Aux Inputs, and Aux Outputs capabilities listed within OnGuard.
  • Create Badge and Card Format configurations.
  • Create Access Levels, Timezones, Holidays and Reader Modes that assign capabilities and permissions for the readers.
  • Create Cardholders that have access to the Stanley Wi-Q readers.
  • Events and alarms are displayed within Alarm Monitoring. Such events include, but are not limited to, Access Granted/Deny, Anti-Tamper, Low Battery, etc. All events not defined within OnGuard shall be set to Generic Event.
  • Control readers through the use of Alarm Monitoring.
  • Segmentation of the OnGuard system
  • First card unlock feature
  • Passage feature (needs BASIS offline license in OnGuard)

The following locks are supported with the integration: WDC, WAC, and OMW.

Vanderbilt SMS and bright blue

Whether you require a smaller web-based access control system like lite blue, bright blue or a more sophisticated, scalable enterprise system like SMS, Vanderbilt Industries can provide an affordable and effective solution to your security issues. And if you are looking for integrated video we’ve got that too!

Control Panels and Hardware

Simple, economical access control begins with standalone hardware where the access control logic is contained in the lock or in an appliance that requires no additional computer or software accessible through a standard web browser. More sophisticated systems rely on control panels and interface modules to provide complex operations for a nearly unlimited number of readers and card holders. Most systems now allow integration of hardwired and wireless door hardware providing the ability to accomodate most any facility needs.

Visitor Management

Do not rely on handwritten sticky labels and handwritten paper logs to provide any level of security for your facility. Visitor information is available for anyone to see. Automated visitor management systems which are integrated with your access control system enhance security and meet compliance mandates for the collection and auditing of visitor data.
