How to hand a door:

Always determine the hand of a door from the locked side (outside). While standing on the outside, if the hinges are to your left with the door swinging away from you, the door is Left Hand (LH).  If the hinges are on the left and the door pulls back toward you, the door is Left Hand Reverse (LHR).  If the hinges are on the right the door will be either Right Hand (RH) or Right Hand Reverse (RHR) depending upon whether the door swings to the inside or outside.  Use the following diagram to assist you.
